Start with the steps, not the name
A facial name is a starting point. What matters is the actual combination of cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and products, and how it fits your current skin and routine. Mederm’s menu contains several different options.
Personalized facial
The clinic’s facial service describes cleansing, exfoliation and selected products. Use the consultation to explain your main concern and confirm which steps are included, especially if you prefer a simpler appointment.
HydraFacial
Mederm describes this as a multi-step appointment combining cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration. Confirm the exact service and any additions before comparing its price with another facial.
Calming or oxygenating facial
The rosacea facial is described around calming care for redness-prone skin; it does not replace medical diagnosis or prescribed treatment. The oxygenating facial describes a serum application, oxygen-based step, light therapy and a mask. These are different service descriptions, not a promise that either is right for everyone.
Choose a plan you understand
Bring your product list and mention sensitivities, recent procedures and events. Ask what is optional, what recovery may affect your plans and what follow-up support is available. You should leave knowing the proposed steps and total cost.
